Lara Casalotti

Coordinator Afghanistan/Pakistan team

Lara is studying an MSc. in Global Migration at UCL in London. She previously studied Geography at the University of Bristol and spent an Erasmus year at Sciences Po Paris. Lara has research and casework experience on asylum and refugee issues in the UK, France and Thailand. She speaks English, French, Thai, Spanish and Italian.

Maya Pritchard

Coordinator Afghanistan/Pakistan team

Maya has been committed to supporting migrants in the UK for the last 10 years, having worked in advice, support, research and administrative roles across the sector. She has been working as a Youth Caseworker for the South London Refugee Association for the last 4 years. She is an accredited immigration and asylum caseworker, has a BA in politics and a recent graduate with a MA in human rights law.

Hannes Gall
Coordinator Africa team

Hannes works as a project manager in the banking sector in Geneva and in Singapore. He holds an MA in International Economic Policy from Sciences Po Paris with a focus on macroeconomic time series analysis. He speaks French, German, English, basic Spanish and beginners Chinese. He is based in Geneva, Switzerland.

Lisa Incledon
Coordinator Africa team

Lisa is a caseworker at a charity in London which supports immigration detainees with health needs, and also volunteers with Amnesty International UK as a trainer and secretary of its Children’s Human Rights Network committee. She studied Law at Oxford University and is currently studying for an LLM in Human Rights at Birkbeck.

Agathe Menetrier
Coordinator Africa team

Agathe has been a researcher for the Africa Team since 2014. Agathe is currently working as a doctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Social Anthropology in Halle (Germany), where she prepares a PhD on the experience of LGBTI asylum seekers in exile in West Africa, her fieldwork brought her to Dakar, Nouakchott and Banjul.

Lissalina Marwig
Coordinator Global team

Lissalina works in the area of asylum and migration in Germany and beforehand in Italy. She holds degrees from Maastricht University and from the University of Bristol in European Studies and International Security. She was an intern at the World Health Organisation in Geneva and speaks English, German, French, Spanish and Italian.

Mira Wolf-Bauwens
Coordinator MENA team

Mira is a PhD student at the University of Zurich, and holds degrees from the Universities of Oxford and York. Mira has research and project management experience in social businesses and NGOs and worked for the German Development Cooperation in Cambodia. She speaks English, German and French.

Julia Poch
Coordinator MENA team

Julia Poch has an MA in International Conflicts with Human Rights from the University of Kent. Previously, she completed an internship at the UNDP in the Joint Migration and Development Program and conducted research for the Africa Programme of the Egmont Institute for International Relations. She speaks Catalan, Spanish, French, English, German, Italian and Portuguese.

Marcelo Giovannetti
Coordinator MENA team

Marcelo has been a researcher in the MENA Team for over two years. Originally from the US, he has a Master’s degree from Sciences Po Paris in International Affairs and currently works in fundraising for economics and business research at INSEAD (France).

Irina Muetzelburg
Coordinator Russia / CIS team

Irina is currently writing her PhD thesis on the Ukrainian asylum system at Sciences Po Paris. She was an intern at the Heinrich Böll Foundation in Ukraine and volunteered for newspapers and radio stations. Based in Berlin, Irina holds an MA from Sciences Po Paris and speaks German, French, English, Spanish, Russian and Ukrainian.

Tsvetelina Angelova
Coordinator Russia /CIS team

Tsvetelina works in the area of asylum seekers’ protection in Paris and previously interned with UNHCR Ukraine and media outlets in France, Turkey and Bulgaria. She holds a master’s degree in Human Rights and Humanitarian Action from Sciences Po Paris. Tsvetelina speaks Bulgarian, French, English, Russian and Turkish.
